Yay for snow!

We found out last night that school was canceled for today, yipee! After a lazy morning we zipped Mason into his snowsuit and headed outside for some fun in the snow.

I spy the color orange...

Uh...could it be Mason's nose?

Yep! So we haven't been too bothered by the fact that our son's nose has slowly started to turn the color orange. Search "My baby's nose is orange" on the internet and you will find plenty of info on the topic. The culprit you ask? Beta Carotene. Too many carrots, squash and sweet potatoes. You know, now that I think about it, I've always called Mason, "Pumpkin."

Where'd you go?

Gotta love the subtle startle...

Scootin'

As I plopped Mason on the ground at the OBX house, Kim and I noticed that he was scooting! That's right, my little boy is mobile. There is a little tiny glitch though with the scooting...it's backwards. Maybe someday soon I will post his first crawling video :)

My new chair

For Christmas, Pap and Mama got Mason a mini high chair. It's awesome! Not only is it perfect for chow time, it's also a great little play area. The hat is due to chilly morning temperatures, inside the house. We don't call him our Eskimo baby for nothin!

"I give this chair the thumbs up."

Sorry!

Long time no post! We had a wonderful and busy holiday spending time with family and friends. Andy's sister Christa, her husband Marco and the two babes, Gabriel and Catalina came all the way from Texas to celebrate the season. While they were here Mason was baptized. Andy's family has a gorgeous baptismal gown that's been in the family for about 150 years. With a little squeezing and stuffing we were able to get Mason into the gown although the back had to be left open :)

Here are some picks from the baptism as well as our little, tiny, somewhat pathetic Christmas tree.

Mason's awesome cousins, Gabriel and Catalina. What cutie pies :)

Mason was literally stuffed into his gown. What a big boy!Yay, no tears during the baptism.
Marco and Christa standing by as Mason's godparents.
Cousin AJ, smiling as always, and Aunt Malissa surprised us at the Church!

Ahhh...our first Christmas and our little Christmas limb.
Thanks, Gram, for my cute Christmas outfit.
