Loving the Pack-n-Play

We sure have fun here in Amisville!

70 degrees and counting...

The weather today is AWESOME! Andy, Mason and I have enjoyed being outside, some of us working, and some of us (ok, one of us) playing with friends like Mr. Penguin and Mr. Lion. We set up the pack-n-play outside by the garden and Mason had a blast enjoying the wind, passing cars and his plush friends. Yay, for nice weather!

Andy said it made him so happy to hear his son laughing from across the yard. Ahh....

Mom takes a break from working in the garden to make sure all the play date friends are playing nicely.

Poor Mason...

Well, we woke up to a snow day (yay!) and after Mason's nap we decided to get him in his snowsuit and outside for some good fun in the snow. Well, after a snowsuit battle (arching back, flailing arms) we finally headed out the front door and plopped our bums in the snow. Unfortunately for Mason he leaned a little too far forward and experienced his first whitewash. The crying did not start immediately. I'm pretty sure it took a few moments to process the freezing cold sensation on his face as he has never experienced that before. Our playtime was cut short, in fact, it only lasted about thirty seconds. Poor Andy walked outside to be handed a crying child with his face covered in snow. Andy said, "My little snowman." Maybe we will try again later....
